RO Membranes

DESCRIPTION:

Membranes for reverse osmosis

Reverse osmosis (RO) produces low‑conductivity water for industrial utilities and processes. Available as brackish‑water (BWRO) and seawater (SWRO) elements, including low‑energy and high‑rejection grades.

STANDARD SPECIFICATION:

– Membrane: TFC polyamide; element sizes 4″×40″ and 8″×40″ (2.5″/1.8″ optional)
– Rejection: ≥98–99.5 % NaCl (grade‑dependent)
– Design flux: 12–25 LMH (BWRO), 8–16 LMH (SWRO)
– Operating pressure: 8–20 bar (BWRO), 55–70 bar (SWRO)
– Feed SDI15 ≤ 3 (≤2 preferred); pH 2–11 (CIP to 12); max temp 45 °C

INDUSTRY USE CASES:

– Demineralized make‑up water (with/without EDI)
– Brackish and seawater desalination
– High‑quality reuse/polishing downstream of biological treatment

PRETREATMENT / INTEGRATION NOTES:

– UF/fine filtration pretreatment and dechlorination are mandatory
– Scaling/biofouling control via dosing programs; consider ERD for SWRO

STANDARD SCOPE OF SUPPLY:

– RO elements and pressure vessels
– High‑pressure pumps, ERD (SWRO) and chemical dosing
– CIP system, instrumentation and PLC control

INLET REQUIREMENTS:

– UF/fine filtration pretreatment; SDI15 ≤ 3 (≤ 2 preferred)
– Dechlorinated feed; biofouling/scaling control in place

OPTIONS:

– BWRO/SWRO, low-energy/high-rejection variants
– Energy recovery (SWRO), interstage boosting

HOMOLOGATIONS / STANDARDS:

– Skids CE-marked; pressure vessels PED/ASME; electrical per IEC

PACKAGING / DELIVERY:

– Elements sealed wet; vessels and HP pumps crated
– CIP system and dosing equipment packaged separately
